I am delighted to announce that our latest update for Know Your Ireland for iPad went live on the iPad App Store last night. Version 1.1 adds some additional great features and we hope you enjoy using them.

So what’s new in v1.1, there are many new features. I have expanded the geography topics of Ireland so you can now learn and quiz yourself on all the Provinces, Counties, Towns, Mountains and Rivers. So there is a quiz of each topic, plus the new Explore section allows you to learn about each feature too. There is now Twitter support so you can now tweet your highest score too, a great way to challenge your friends.

What is Know Your Ireland for iPad?

Know Your Ireland is a great game for kids to learn all about Ireland. Learn about the provinces, counties, towns, mountains and rivers of Ireland. There is lots of information on each feature too in the Explore section, with great photos from each county.

Know Your Ireland for iPad Update

An all new version of Know Your Ireland for iPad has been submitted to Apple. We hope that this will go live on the App Store later this week. New features include added topics of Towns, Mountains and Rivers, plus many other improvements.

A great review of Know Your Ireland for iPad

I am delighted that Damien at Seomra Ranga.com took time out to review my Know Your Ireland for iPad app, here’s a snippet of the positive review, read the full review on the Seomra Ranaga website.

My 6th class pupils enjoyed the revision class using the app and it held their attention for quite a while. They haven’t taken the quiz yet, but it’s sure to awaken their naturally competitive streak!

We are glad to announce that Know Your Ireland is now available for the iPad. We have been working hard over the summer months and now you can learn all the counties of Ireland where ever you are with the Apple iPad version of Know Your Ireland.
